Hello, I’m a woodshop teacher in Ottawa, Ontario. I was viewing some of your student’s projects and I was wondering if you have a detailed plan of the gumball machine that you might be interested in sharing? Thank you

Hi, if I had detailed plans of this project, I would totally share them. It’s pretty straight forward. I use 1/8″ acrylic, 1″ dowels, and gumballs from Real Canadian Superstore!

Thanks, I was just curious about the crank. Do you have your students turn the dowel on the lathe or is it store bought? Thank you.

    • mrlouie says:

Hey, its store bought. 1inch hardwood dowel from a local supplier, PJ White. Used a half inch forstner bit purchased from Lee valley to drill the hole for the gumball.

Are you using a 555 IC on the blinker projects or transistors?
    Keep up the great work!
